What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Engineer position at Talento Search Group?
Talento Search Group has an opening for a Field Service Engineer in the Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio area. This is a direct-hire position. This is a 1st shift position with a schedule from Monday-Friday. This position will require travel and overnight stays; travel up to 30%. Yearly compensation range is $70,000-90,000 plus OT.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Program PLC's and HMI's
- Test and debug equipment before shipping to customer
- Set up and configure drives
- Support commissioning of systems and support start-ups at client facilities
- Prepare and update documentation
- Perform customer support activities including diagnosing and repairing machinery, in-house technical support, onsite field service, and customer training
Experience Needed:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with automation systems for industrial process control
- Experience with PLC's, HMI's, and drive systems
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred
- Willingness to travel domestic and international - about 30%
