Job Description
As an experienced Data Entry Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for processing orders for filling or modification, billing medications to insurance companies, and organizing and filing records. You will also handle customer service tasks such as answering phone calls, retrieving paperwork to resolve issues, printing labels, and communicating both within and outside the department to address problems or errors.
Responsibilities
- Process orders to be filled or modified for customers.
- Bill medications to insurance companies and other agencies.
- Organize and file all records efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and retrieve paperwork to address questions and resolve issues.
- Resolve issues with facilities and residents or their payees.
- Print labels and pull delivery manifests.
- Communicate within and outside the department to resolve problems or errors.
Essential Skills
- 5 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- 3 year of data entry experience in pharmacy.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proficiency in HIPAA regulations.
- Experience with order entry, prior authorization, and call center operations.
- Tech savvy
Work Environment
You will work spending 100% of your day at a desk/computer. There will be no face-to-face customer interactions, providing a relaxed work environment. The position offers flexible shifts and scheduling options.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $22.00/hr.
