Job Title: Electrical Estimator
Job Description:
Actalent is seeking to hire a skilled Electrical Estimator who will be responsible for managing the estimation process for electrical construction projects from initial bid preparation through project close-out. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, construction estimating, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate estimates for electrical construction projects from bid initiation to close-out.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and input data into estimating software.
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
- Review current material pricing and obtain competitive quotes.
- Analyze bid and construction schedules to ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Conduct initial contract reviews when included in bid documents.
- Draft and submit comprehensive proposal documents.
Required Skills:
- Electrical construction estimating
- Bidding and blueprint interpretation
- Proficiency with Accubid and Spectrum Software
- Budget analysis and pricing strategies
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of construction management experience with an electrical contractor (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents
- Familiarity with Accubid estimating software

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
