Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing construction documents and pre-planning information to calculate final estimates. The role requires a strong understanding of the scope of work and the ability to read construction drawings to determine accurate bid proposals. Excellent communication skills are essential for coordinating with both internal and external teams regarding updates and changes.
Responsibilities
- Review construction documents and pre-planning information to calculate final estimates.
- Understand the scope of work and read construction drawings to identify bidding opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external teams to relay changes, updates, and touch points.
- Utilize estimating software to calculate the cost of labor and manpower, and assess ROI for bids.
- Prepare bids and bid calculations for commercial and industrial construction projects.
- 5 years of estimating experience
- Proficiency in estimation and estimating software
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to understand and interpret construction drawings
- Experience in preparing bids and bid calculations
- Industrial and commercial construction experience
- Experience with project planning and cost analysis
The position involves working closely with a team in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
