About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects, including infrastructure, site development, and public works. This role is critical in helping us win bids and maintain profitability through precise forecasting and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and scope details.
• Develop and maintain a database of unit costs and historical project data.
• Prepare bid packages and proposals for public and private sector clients.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Monitor project budgets and provide cost updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
• 3 years of experience in civil estimating or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., HCSS, HeavyBid, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $88.00 - $90.00/hr.
