Our client in the Seattle, WA location is currently hiring for a Project Manager / Estimator (Commercial Construction – Sales Focused). This is a permanent, field‑based opportunity supporting commercial construction projects throughout the Seattle area. This role is intentionally sales‑forward, with a strong emphasis on relationship building, revenue growth, and maintaining project visibility while collaborating closely with internal estimating and project management teams.
Pay – $80,000 – $90,000 (Depending on years of experience, tenure, software proficiency, relevant job titles, etc.)
Location – Seattle, WA (Field‑based with travel to commercial job sites and client offices throughout the Seattle area)
Schedule – Standard Monday – Friday
(Responsibilities)
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with general contractors, owners, and clients
- Actively pursue new and existing commercial construction opportunities
- Manage and grow a pipeline of current and future projects
- Follow up on leads, bids, and estimates that have already been priced or submitted
- Conduct regular client meetings and job site visits to uncover opportunities and strengthen relationships
- Represent the company professionally within the local commercial construction market
- Maintain project visibility after award to support continuity, communication, and client satisfaction
- Review drawings and plans to support estimating efforts and client discussions
- Collaborate with internal estimating, project management, and operations teams to ensure smooth handoffs
- Track project status, timelines, and follow‑through without full project management ownership
- Participate in daily sales meetings and maintain accurate documentation using company systems
- Utilize Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite in coordination with the estimating team
- Preferred but not required: familiarity with On‑Screen, Quick Bid, or BuzzBid
(Qualification Requirements)
- Minimum of 2 years working at a construction subcontractor as a Project Manager, Estimator, or Service/Sales Manager
- Construction industry experience required
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
- Understanding of project tracking and construction workflows
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional client relationships
- Sales‑oriented mindset with strong accountability for follow‑through and results
- Strong communication, organization, and time‑management skills
- Comfortable working independently in a self‑directed environment
- High level of computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Smartsheet)
- Ability to meet driving requirements
- Degree not required
