Job Title: Staff Pharmacist (Entry-Level)
Job Description
As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying prescriptions to ensure data quality and accuracy. You will check both incoming and outgoing prescriptions to confirm that the medication, dosage, strength, directions, quantity, and patient information are correct. This role also involves handling calls from healthcare providers and educating patients and their families about medications over the phone.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct clinical and drug utilization reviews to ensure quality and safety.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls from healthcare providers and pharmacies.
- Educate patients and families on medication usage and safety over the phone.
Essential Skills
- Pharmacy expertise
- PharmD degree
- Data entry proficiency
- Customer service skills
- Experience in retail pharmacy (preferred)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Long-term care (LTC) experience

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Myers, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
