Job Description

We are seeking a Controls Engineer to support various projects ranging from small studies to multi-million dollar turn-key supply. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, organized, and capable of effective communication across all levels of the organization, thriving in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical specifications for part and equipment selection, comprising 50-60% of the role.
• Engage in PLC programming, primarily Allen Bradley PLCs, making up 40-50% of the role.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Travel to customer sites for meetings, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting, accounting for over 30% of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer Science, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Proficiency in PLC programming, including Allen Bradley PLCs is preferred.
• Experience with HMI programming and FactoryTalk.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Preferred internship experience in Controls or Electrical Engineering, with coding experience using Rockwell or other PLCs.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems, instrumentation controls, and automation.
• Knowledge in electronics, instrumentation, control and data acquisition systems.
• Knowledge of variable frequency drive systems, motion control systems, sensors and transmitters, actuators, PID control, and communication networks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Manchester, TN.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $83000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Manchester,TN.
