Job Description
Join our innovative team as an Embedded Software Engineer, where you will design and implement embedded software in C for a Linux-based application. Work remotely on a Linux server and perform integration on a Linux single-board computer in the lab. Collaborate with a team of five, including a lead developer, on the most technically complex component of the system. Deliver high-quality, maintainable code by following the provided scope and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded software in C for Linux-based applications.
- Work remotely on Linux servers and perform integration on Linux single-board computers.
- Collaborate with a team of five, including two team members and a lead developer, on complex technical components.
- Deliver high-quality, maintainable code by adhering to provided scope and requirements.
Essential Skills
- 8 years of experience in:
- Advanced level in C programming, particularly in embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience with embedded Linux development.
- Familiarity with development on single-board computers such as Raspberry Pi or similar platforms.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- US citizenship required.
Other Skills & Qualifications
• Prior work in aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability industries.
- Hardware interfaces/protocols: Ethernet, CANbus, RS422 nice to have
- Experience with collaborative development practices.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Work Environment
-This position requires in-person attendance at the Parsippany office due to the high urgency and collaborative nature of the project.
-The team may need to work late or over weekends as required.

-Flexible work schedules are available, including options to work four 10-hour days with Fridays off or four 9-hour days with a half-day on Friday.
-Short term contract that can be until July of 2026.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $100.00/hr.
