Are you passionate about hands-on work and solving technical challenges? We're looking for a Test Technician to join our collaborative team in Kingston, NY. In this role, you’ll play a key part in testing and assembling cutting-edge electrical and mechanical equipment—including prototypes that shape the future of our products.

What You’ll Do

• Interpret work orders, schematics, blueprints, and verbal instructions to guide testing and assembly.
• Prepare parts, tools, and measurement devices for builds.
• Conduct functional tests on equipment and software.
• Document results through detailed test reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Assist engineering teams with prototype builds—both mechanical and electrical.
• Collaborate across departments including Fabrication, Welding, Engineering, Quality Control, and more.

What You Bring

Required Skills:

• Experience in electrical and mechanical testing
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
• Strong troubleshooting skills (down to board level)
• Familiarity with test equipment and calibration procedures
• Hands-on experience with assembly and wiring
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Preferred Skills:

• Wiring experience (480V high voltage / 24V low voltage)
• Experience supporting prototype builds
• Understanding of work instructions and test procedures
• Skilled in using hand tools and electro-mechanical debugging

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electro-Mechanical Technology

• Equivalent hands-on experience with a strong foundation in electrical theory and test equipment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
