Electromechanical Systems Design Release Engineer

Description

The Design Release Engineer will coordinate design analysis and product development activities for advanced components and product lines, with a focus on Electromechanical Systems. This role drives the release of new components, resolves design deficiencies, maintains cost controls, and provides technical direction to support personnel. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers, as well as ongoing engagement with new technologies and engineering best practices.

Knowledge in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Knowledge with email communication tool

Strong interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally

Strong written and oral communication skills necessary for meetings and presentations

Ability to work well with others, exhibiting teamwork skills

Partners with management to analyze and solve issues

Ability to multitask by handling diverse assignments concurrently

Strong ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations

Strong understanding of materials, engineering theory and principles of design

This is a Contract position based out of Warren, MI.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Warren,MI.
