As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting legacy magnetics products used in radar systems. With over 100 years of experience backing our innovative approaches, you will work at our San Diego Manufacturing Depot, where we specialize in the building and repair of electrical transformers, power supplies, and magnetic assemblies.
Responsibilities- Perform electro-mechanical assembly, repair, and rework of transformers, power supplies, and magnetic assemblies following engineering documentation and work instructions.
- Read, interpret, and adhere to detailed work instructions, procedures, electromechanical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electronic schematics.
- Execute production hand-soldering tasks in accordance with industry standards.
- Utilize basic computer systems and internal software tools for documentation, travelers, and production data entry.
- Assemble, route, connect, and secure electrical and mechanical components using hand tools and measurement devices.
- Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
- Wear necessary personal protective equipment and comply with Environmental Health & Safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
- Perform duties primarily in a seated position, with occasional standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, or climbing as required.
- Lift, carry, or move components up to 25 lbs unassisted.
- Proficiency in electrical assembly and aptitude for understanding complex electrical systems.
- Experience with routing, cabling, and power supplies.
- Ability to perform electrical testing and rework.
- Experience in coil winding, soldering, encapsulation, welding/machining, and electrical testing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Raytheon standards and procedures is beneficial.
This is a 1st-shift, onsite position at the San Diego Manufacturing Depot, following a 9/80 work schedule. The role supports depot production operations and requires adherence to safety procedures and standards. The work primarily involves seated tasks with occasional physical activity, such as standing or lifting components up to 25 lbs.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
