Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring effective communication with clients and vendors, and overseeing on-site operations to ensure successful project completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects at the same time, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Conduct thorough site walk-throughs to evaluate progress and identify potential issues.
- Facilitate clear communication with clients and vendors to maintain strong working relationships.
- Handle Requests for Information (RFI), change orders, and submittals efficiently.
- Prepare and manage two-week lookaheads to forecast project timelines and milestones.
- Manage field supervisors to ensure project goals are met and work is completed to standard.
- Create and maintain project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in electrical project management.
- Experience in estimation, RFIs, change orders, and submittals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Background in electrical engineering.
- Construction management certification or PMP preferred.
Work Environment
This role requires on-site presence to oversee project operations directly. The work environment is dynamic, with a focus on private commercial projects. The team is super busy with a strong pipeline of projects forecasted through 2026, offering significant opportunities for growth.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.10/hr.
