What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Inspector position at Actalent?
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team for a contract position until mid-May.
The deal candidate will have at least 5 years of inspection experience and be willing and able to travel across the 5 boroughs.
This role involves significant walking during field days, so comfort with physical activity is essential.
Job Title: Electrical Inspector (Contract)
Location: New York City (Travel across the 5 boroughs required)
Contract Duration: Until mid-May (with potential to resume in August)
Must Haves:
- BCAS, PCA, or FCA experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of inspection experience.
- Electrical engineering or inspection experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical inspections across various locations in the 5 boroughs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Document findings and report any issues.
- Utilize computer software for data entry and reporting.
Requirements:
- Willingness to travel across the 5 boroughs.
- Comfortable with extensive walking during field days.
- Computer-literate and comfortable using/learning new software programs.
- Availability to start immediately is ideal, but flexible start dates will be considered.
- No license required.
Work Schedule:
- Start time as early as 8 AM, usually done by 3 PM latest.
- 12-40 hours a week based on preference/availability (1 to 4 field days).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
