Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems and components with a focus on magnetic components such as transformers, inductors, and reactors. You will perform detailed calculations, establish standards and specifications, and use computer-assisted engineering and design software for various tasks.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems and components, focusing on magnetic components.
- Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks.
- Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.
- Perform detailed analyses to assess the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
- Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
- Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
- Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operations and make recommendations to the maintenance crew.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.
- Proficiency in CAD and other engineering design software.
- Experience in electrical design, especially from scratch with custom designs per client specifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Prior experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with magnetics design and electrical engineering.

This is a Permanent position based out of Trenton, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
