Drafter

Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Drafter to support our Civil Engineering team on industrial and commercial development projects. This role involves producing high‑quality construction documents using Civil 3D and conducting site walks to verify field conditions and ensure accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Civil Engineers to produce detailed plans for industrial and commercial sites.
• Develop accurate, high‑quality construction documents using Civil 3D.
• Conduct site walks to gather field data and validate project information.
• Ensure all drawings meet industry standards, company guidelines, and project specifications.
• Assist with design tasks related to grading, utilities, and site layout.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Civil 3D is required.
• Strong drafting and design skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of grading, site design, and civil plan production.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience drafting for industrial or commercial development projects.
• Familiarity with civil engineering workflows and permitting requirements.

Work Environment

This role operates in a collaborative office setting and utilizes advanced CAD technology. The position includes occasional site visits to ensure plans align with real‑world conditions. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, WI.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
