Job Title: Entry Design Engineer

Job Description

Support the engineering development of new products, processes, and procedures to ensure high-quality outputs for customers. This role is hands-on within the new product development lifecycle, guided by experienced engineers, and focused on technical skill-building and professional development. Responsibilities include assisting with product design and supporting technical ownership tasks aligned with corporate deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of new products.
• Support technical ownership tasks to meet corporate deliverables.
• Engage in hands-on learning with experienced engineers.
• Contribute to the full product development lifecycle.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance product quality.

Essential Skills

• Experience in design, SolidWorks, and mechanical design.
• Entry-level to early career experience in product development, manufacturing, or related engineering fields.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in solid modeling using 3D CAD.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration.
• Analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Furniture industry experience is preferred.
• SolidWorks experience is an advantage.
• Project management exposure is beneficial.
• Electrical (low & high volume) experience is advantageous.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of High Point, NC.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
