Job Description
We are seeking an Automotive Conveyor Controls Engineer with expertise in skillet conveyor systems. You will lead and execute control system design, engineering, and field startup for electrical controls in manufacturing. This role emphasizes hardware design and requires experience in automotive automation and controls.
Responsibilities
- Lead and perform control system design for electrical controls in manufacturing settings.
- Execute engineering tasks related to skillet conveyor systems.
- Conduct field startup activities for electrical controls.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Engage in customer-facing activities to support project goals.
- Minimum of two years of experience in automotive conveyor electrical design, specifically skillet conveyors.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI industrial controls.
- Familiarity with General Motors standards.
- Expertise in skillet conveyor systems.
- Associates degree or equivalent experience in automation is preferred.
- Experience with EPlan software.
- Integrator experience in final assembly processes.
This role offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote work and on-site presence in Warren, MI. The position involves travel up to 25% for installation, debug, and launch support. You will work in a collaborative team setting with opportunities to engage with major OEM standards and technologies. The environment is customer-focused, requiring effective communication and teamwork.

This is a Contract position based out of Warren, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $55.00/hr.
