Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent to join our team for a $30 million project in Kokomo, with potential assignments across Central Indiana, including Indianapolis, Greenfield, and Fishers. This role involves managing projects from start to final closeout, with a strong emphasis on leadership and communication skills. You will work closely with the Carmel School District and be responsible for renovations and additions to various educational facilities. This is a long-term position where you will oversee multiple projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and within budget.

• Manage the project in the field and set up the job site office.
• Maintain strong relationships with the owner and coordinate with contractors.
• Supervise and coordinate contractors while building and managing the project schedule.
• Ensure timely delivery of long lead items and conduct progress meetings.
• Author meeting minutes and oversee daily operations and reports.
• Resolve field issues and manage RFI's, reviews, and approvals.
• Review and approve payment applications and ensure project completion on time and within budget.

• 5-10 years of superintendent experience with a background in general contracting or construction management.
• Experience with K-12 or institutional projects, gyms, pools, and recreation centers.
• Capability to independently manage projects in the $20M–$30M range.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a site from active construction through closeout.
• Strong closeout experience, including punch lists and project completion.
• Polished communication skills and the ability to work in occupied spaces where logistics, safety, and sequencing are critical.
• Reputation for maintaining positive relationships within the local construction market.
• Experience with ground-up building construction and managing all trades.

• Exposure to larger programs ($50M–$100M ) is a plus.
• Experience with Procore or similar platforms such as Autodesk.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Open to candidates with multifamily experience.

Work hours are from 7 am to 4 pm, five days a week on-site, with adjustments as sunrise times change. The role offers a salary position, mileage reimbursement at 0.54 cents per mile, cell phone reimbursement of $70 per month, and provides a computer and iPad. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kokomo, IN.

The pay range for this position is $78000.00 - $125000.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Kokomo,IN.
