Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to join our team, focusing on overseeing the contract management process for our land development and site due diligence team. This role supports datacenter construction projects and involves preparing, reviewing, negotiating, and executing contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and industry standards, while managing contract-related issues or disputes.
Responsibilities
- Create and issue RFQs for services required for the projects, evaluating and comparing bids received from suppliers.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and execute contracts with various parties such as clients, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and regulators for site due diligence, environmental services, land development, and construction contracts for datacenter construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, laws, regulations, and industry standards, monitoring contract performance and delivery.
- Manage contract renewals, extensions, amendments, and terminations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts and related documents.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on contract-related matters, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and liabilities associated with contracts, resolving any contract-related issues or disputes.
- Develop and implement best practices, policies, and procedures for contract management, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in contract management, contract administration, or a similar role, preferably in the construction services, land development, or datacenter industry.
- Proficiency in contract management software such as SAP Ariba.
- Knowledgeable in reviewing commercial language, terms and conditions, construction practices, and project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with different stakeholders and departments.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
This position is 100% remote, with no preference for time-zone, offering flexibility in work hours. The role focuses on architectural and engineering services within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $74.00 - $84.00/hr.
