Job Description
We are seeking a Construction Materials Technician who can work independently on projects in the field. The role involves collecting soil and concrete samples and performing strength tests. Candidates should be open to field assignments as well as office-based testing.
Responsibilities
- Collect soil and concrete samples from various sites.
- Conduct strength tests on collected samples.
- Perform soil density and compaction analysis.
- Write detailed reports on testing results.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols while using nuclear gauges.
Essential Skills
- Concrete testing expertise.
- Soil analysis and compaction testing skills.
- Proficiency in using nuclear gauges.
- Experience in report writing.
- ACI Field Grade 1 Certification preferred.
- ACI Strength Grade 1 Certification preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Nuclear Gauge certification preferred.
- NICET certification is a plus.
- 2 years of experience as a Construction Materials Technician.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
