Construction Manager

The primary role of a Construction Manager is to plan, direct, and coordinate activities in fields such as engineering, research and development, financial systems, and product roll-out. This position involves overseeing construction projects, particularly focusing on ground-up data center construction.

• Coordinate projects by creating detailed plans to achieve goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
• Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
• Analyze technology resource needs and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
• Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
• Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
• Manage day-to-day issues related to data center construction.

• 10 years of Construction Management experience.
• Proficiency in Nexus.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Knowledge of computer software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
• PMI or PMP certification preferred.

The position is onsite in Lawrenceville, LVL07. The daily schedule is Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with additional hours as needed. The role involves working in a collaborative environment with a focus on data center construction projects.

This is a Contract position based out of Boydton, VA.

The pay range for this position is $87.00 - $97.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Boydton,VA.
