What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Administrator position at Actalent?
Job Description:
- Monitor construction progress to ensure alignment with architectural plans and specifications.
- Evaluate construction documents for accuracy, completeness, and constructability prior to bidding.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess quality, resolve field issues, and verify compliance with design intent.
- Facilitate clear and timely communication among stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Review and respond to submittals, RFIs, and change orders; maintain accurate records of all correspondence and approvals.
- Monitor construction costs and timelines; assist in negotiating change orders and managing pay applications.
- Ensure adherence to building codes, zoning regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Manage final documentation, punch lists, and assist in project handover.
Requirements
- Ability to perform construction administration for educational/institutional projects
- Architectural background with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software such as SketchUp, Rhino, and BIM 360.
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
