Job Title: Concrete Laborer

Job Description

Seeking motivated individuals to perform tasks associated with the repair of concrete structures in the tri-state area. Tasks include demolition, concrete and steel placement, waterproofing, and grouting. Largescale projects throughout Tri-state: parking garages, sidewalks, stadiums, etc.  

Responsibilities

• Designing and building forms.
• Setting up the forms.
• Pouring concrete.
• Using wire mesh to reinforce the concrete.
• Spreading and smoothing concrete.
• Molding expansion joints and edges.
• Using stains or colors to add the finishing touch.
• Adding small stones or other materials for decoration.
• Applying waterproofing and sealant to protect the concrete work.
• Monitoring the material to ensure it hardens to a durable finish.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in concrete and concrete repair techniques.
• Familiarity with masonry practices.
• Experience with project management tools such as Procore.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in construction management.

Work Environment

You will work on-site five days a week, immersed in a dynamic and growing environment within the Tristate area. The role demands hands-on involvement in project sites, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications.

This is a Contract to Hire position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $50.00/hr.
