Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CMM Programmer. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in metrology, tool and die, and medical device manufacturing. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of product validation—from vendor receipt to mold measurement and tooling analysis.
Responsibilities
- Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect and validate precision components.
- Perform dimensional inspections of molds, tools, and dies using metrology techniques.
- Collaborate with the tool room and engineering teams to ensure tooling meets specifications.
- Validate incoming products from vendors and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models for inspection planning.
- Document inspection results and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and calibrate metrology equipment to ensure accuracy.
Essential Skills
- Experience in CMM programming and operation.
- Proficiency in metrology and calibration.
- Strong understanding of quality engineering and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with GD&T and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of medical device manufacturing and CAPA processes.
- Experience with optical inspection and micrometer usage.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Calypso and PC-DMIS software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of St. Augustine, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr.
