Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) - Generalist Preferred

Location: Ventura, CA

Pay Range: $48-$65/hr

Shift Availability: AM and PM Shifts

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join our laboratory team. As a CLS, you will perform a wide range of diagnostic testing and analyses to support healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care. While generalist experience is preferred, all qualified CLS candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct accurate and timely laboratory testing across multiple disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and transfusion services.
• Interpret and analyze test results, ensuring proper documentation and reporting in compliance with regulations.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment with precision.
• Perform quality control and proficiency testing to uphold laboratory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid California CLS license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Generalist experience highly preferred, with expertise across various lab specialties.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
