Job Title: Civil Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Civil Project Manager with expertise in land development design. You will play a crucial role in producing site layouts, plans and profiles, grading plans, stormwater management reports, drainage calculations, pump calculations, water and sewer line design, and road design. Your work will ensure that all designs meet technical standards and project requirements, while you manage the project from conception to completion.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review construction documents, engineering plans, and specifications with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate with project team members for smooth project execution from start to finish.
- Communicate directly with clients and provide detailed project updates.
- Coordinate project submittals, facilitate regulatory agency approvals, and obtain construction permits.
- Provide expert testimony at various municipal and county boards.
- Communicate and coordinate technical evaluations and designs, producing reports in a technical writing format.
- Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies as required for project approvals.
Essential Skills
- Project management experience.
- Proficiency in civil engineering and site development.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience running civil projects.
- Experience with civil design and stormwater management for commercial and residential projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is strongly preferred.
Work Environment
This position requires on-site work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will be part of a dynamic work environment offering a comprehensive benefits package, including a health insurance plan and a 401k retirement plan with a 3% company match.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newton, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62.00 - $72.00/hr.
