Job Title: Civil Engineering Project Engineer

Job Description

We are searching for a Civil Engineering Project Engineer with two to five years of experience in Land Development and Municipal engineering projects for a position based in Deerfield Beach, FL. The successful candidate will provide technical and design services supporting Land Development and Municipal projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards. Experience in site development, water and sewer utilities, and stormwater management is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and design services for Land Development and Municipal projects.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.
• Work on site development, water and sewer utilities, and stormwater management.
• Prepare and review engineering plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with local and state regulatory agencies for permitting processes.
• Manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate project status and needs.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Land Development and Municipal projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ICPR, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Land Development/Site Design, Stormwater, Utilities, and permitting with local and state regulatory agencies.
• EIT certification.
• Desire to learn and grow within the field.

Work Environment

The position is based in Deerfield Beach, FL. The work environment involves collaborating with a team of engineers and other professionals, utilizing technologies such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ICPR, and Microsoft Office Suite. The role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively communicate with team members and regulatory agencies.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $52.88/hr.
