Responsibilities

• Lead municipal infrastructure projects from initial design to final inspection.
• Craft detailed plans, specifications, reports, budgets, and schedules to bring projects to life.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants during design and construction meetings.
• Oversee construction progress with on-site observations to ensure quality and compliance.
• Ensure projects remain on track—on time, within scope, and on budget—while maintaining meticulous documentation.
• Build strong client relationships through clear communication and proactive problem-solving.
• Integrate the latest industry trends and technologies into your work.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or active progress toward licensure in South Dakota, Iowa, or Minnesota.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in civil engineering software and Microsoft Office tools.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
