Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Chemist to prepare, make, and test batch and finished products, performing both routine and non-routine testing to identify and address any quality or stability issues. The role involves acting as the main technical representative for several accounts, managing client communications, and overseeing product and sampling requests from ideation to production. This position is ideal for professionals with a background in personal care and laboratory testing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and test batch and finished products.
- Perform routine and non-routine testing to identify quality or stability issues.
- Act as the main technical representative for assigned accounts.
- Respond to client emails and manage status phone calls.
- Oversee product and sampling requests from ideation to production.
- Proficiency in chemistry and laboratory practices.
- Experience in wet chemistry.
- Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field such as chemistry, chemical engineering, or food science.
- 1-2 years of experience in assisting formulations within the personal care industry.
- Experience with titration and FTIR (Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy).
- Previous experience working in a GMP lab or with flavor products.
You will be working in a laboratory setting alongside three other team members under the guidance of a manager. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.

This is a Permanent position based out of Branchburg, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
