Entry-Level Laboratory Technician
Distillation Department
Location: Danbury, CT
Shift: 2nd Shift
Pay Rate: $23 per hour (plus competitive benefits)
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level
Laboratory Technician to join our Distillation Department. This position offers
an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic laboratory
environment, supporting the distillation processes essential to our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and operation of distillation equipment
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and measurements
- Document and record test results accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace
- Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth department operations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
