Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our busy pain management office. This role involves completing essential clinical duties during patient visits, assisting with procedures, and coordinating any special testing required.
Responsibilities
- Complete required clinical duties when the patient is seen at the time of visit.
- Set up and assist as necessary with procedures and coordinate any special testing or procedures.
- Track patient results in accordance with practice criteria.
- Be knowledgeable of emergency procedures.
- Ensure the smooth flow of the department by maintaining orderliness.
- Provide for patient safety.
- Active CMA certification.
- Recent medical office experience (at least 6 months).
- Proficiency in medical terminology and patient information management.
- Experience in medical and patient care, including swabbing and customer service.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Experience in OBGYN settings.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
The work environment is in a busy pain management office. The position opened due to the high demand at this location. The role involves interacting with patients and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in a fast-paced setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Trenton, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
