CAD Technician

Join our Civil Engineering team as a CAD Technician, where you will contribute to diverse civil site design projects across various market segments with varying degrees of complexity. You will coordinate and develop drawings and details using field measurements, photographs, research, and other sources. Utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D, you will create construction documents and drawings for commercial site development projects, including those in higher education, healthcare, retail/commercial, industrial/warehouses, and residential master planning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop drawings and details using field measurements, photographs, research, and other sources.
• Create construction documents and drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D for commercial site development projects.
• Work on diverse site design projects including higher education, healthcare, retail/commercial, industrial/warehouses, and residential master planning.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD with good experience in its application.
• 2 years of experience in civil drafting/design.
• Minimum of a high school diploma.

• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Experience in Civil 3D drafting.
• Experience in civil drafting/design areas such as survey, roads, utilities, grading, drainage, and site development.

This is a first shift position with flexible hours, starting between 7-9 AM and ending between 4-6 PM, Monday through Friday. The typical work week consists of 40 hours, with potential to extend to 45 hours when needed. Employees have the ability to work from home when necessary, though this is not a remote or hybrid position. Our office environment is new and pleasant, located in a nice office park with amenities such as walking trails, a gym, and other outdoor activities. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edgewood, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $36.06/hr.
