Job Description
The Buyer is responsible for placing purchase orders to fulfill requests from the engineering team, ensuring that all necessary materials and components are acquired in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Place purchase orders to fulfill requests from the engineering team.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders and inventory levels.
- Communicate with the engineering team to understand their procurement needs.
- Experience in purchasing and placing purchase orders.
- One year or less of experience in a similar role.
- Background in manufacturing.
This position is onsite in a manufacturing environment, where you will work closely with the engineering team and suppliers to ensure smooth procurement operations.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
