Bid Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Bid Coordinator to join our fast-growing team. This role supports the estimating and project management teams by preparing bid proposals, managing bid solicitations, and assisting with take-offs. The ideal candidate will have experience in an estimating support capacity within the mechanical construction space.

Responsibilities

• Support the estimating and project management teams with bid proposals.
• Compile and collect bid solicitations from subcontractors.
• Assist in performing take-offs and compiling estimating materials/resources for the project team.
• Communicate with subcontractors to enforce submittal deadlines.
• Coordinate multiple documents and teams effectively.

• Experience with construction documents, mechanical project control, and document control.
• Proficiency in managing change orders and project coordination.
• Strong communication skills with subcontractors and internal teams.
• Ability to juggle multiple documents and coordinate between various teams.
• 1-3 years of experience working for a mechanical contractor/subcontractor.
• Familiarity with estimation, construction management, bidding, blueprints, quantity takeoffs, and document management.

• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency.

The Bid Coordinator will work from a home office in Hunt Valley, Maryland, alongside 4-6 project managers and the full executive team. The office environment has a family feel, offering steady growth in company revenue, upward mobility, and internal training opportunities. Daily interaction with all members of the office is expected.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cockeysville, MD.

The pay range for this position is $24.03 - $28.84/hr.
