Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Automated Warehouse Specialist to support operations within our automated warehouse environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in automated logistics systems and a strong foundation in technical documentation. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and refining operational processes, supporting manual operations, and contributing to the transition toward full automation.
Job Description:
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in automated warehouse operations.
- Assist in drafting and refining documentation for warehouse processes, collaborating with technical writers.
- Support manual operations on a rotational basis (e.g., forklift operation).
- Contribute to the development and implementation of automated documentation systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and improve operational efficiencies.
- Align with front-line operators, leads, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Support onboarding and training efforts as automation expands.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in an automated environment.
- Experience with SAP WM, ASRS, or similar warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Experience in technical writing or documentation development preferred.
- Ability to operate manual equipment (e.g., forklifts) and transition into SME responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
