Job Description

Join our highly creative and collaborative team dedicated to innovative problem solving and design excellence. We are seeking an energetic self-starter to work on a range of client accounts across retail, healthcare, office, warehouse, mixed-use, and residential projects. Ideal candidates have experience in the role, are team players, and are customer service-oriented, task-focused, diligent, versatile, and efficient. You should be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical drawings throughout all phases of a project.
• Provide experiential and technical knowledge to solve design and construction issues.
• Communicate priorities to both internal and external project teams.
• Ensure quality for work products and develop and enforce CAD/Revit standards.
• Assist in preparing project schedules and implementing project work plans.
• Interact with outside consultants and agencies.
• Collaborate with a team on larger projects.

Essential Skills

• 5-10 years in architectural project management, including managing projects independently and directly managing clients.
• 7-15 years experience in production and coordination of documents in all phases of architectural practice.
• Must have experience in commercial, healthcare, industrial, institutional, and multifamily projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; Revit is a plus.
• Ability to work on multiple projects across different phases each week.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Architectural degree from an accredited university.
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of CAD and Revit software.
• Proficient in developing and documenting design and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of best practices for creating professional quality drawings.
• Thorough understanding of technical terminology in the architectural and construction industry.
• Ability to prepare complex plans, elevations, and details.
• Understanding of requirements and deliverables for all project phases.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes for independent code analysis and compliance.
• Experience in reviewing submittals and shop drawings during construction.

This is a Permanent position based out of Springfield, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
