What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Electronic Technician position at Actalent?
Conducts, maintains, tests, and repairs electrical/electronic components at an advanced level.
Responsibilities- Test, diagnose, and repair electronic components.
- Analyze issues down to the component level.
- Resolve intricate technical challenges through troubleshooting.
- Interpret sophisticated schematics.
- Provide training and support to other Technicians in repair processes.
- Comply with quality performance standards.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Soldering and de-soldering techniques.
- Electrical troubleshooting.
- Minimum of a 2-year Electronics degree or equivalent Electronics certification.
- 2 years as a proficient electronics technician.
- Pass a Technical Aptitude Test when applicable.
- Thorough comprehension of various technology systems and applications.
- In-depth knowledge of electronic circuit componentry and theory.
- Proficient in utilizing test equipment.
- Analytical thinking and robust problem-solving skills.
- Handling Hard Drive devices and maintaining ESD policy standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment.
- Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
- Surface mount soldering and thru-hole techniques.
Work hours are from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The role involves working in a structured environment where cleanliness and orderliness of the workspace are maintained.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coatesville, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
