Position Available: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Looking to hire a Senior Staff Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Responsibilities
Full knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable
Interfacing with Vendor/Sub Contractors and Owners from the onset of contract documents
Certified Payroll
General Liability and Workers Compensation Insurance
Process and Manage Subcontractor invoices including the preparation of all supporting documentation
Collection of warranties at the close out process upon completion of project
Maintenance and Organization of hard and soft copy project files
Collection and maintenance of subcontractor insurance
Qualifications
Must have 5 years of experience as a Full Charge Accountant
Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
Detail and deadline-oriented
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Must be able to work well independently, be highly motivated
Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Advanced computer skills to include strong Microsoft Office Suite skills with heavy emphasis on Excel
Experience in the field of Construction is a big plus
