Position Available: Certified Public Accountant
Responsibilities
Overseeing of Accountants
Interfacing with vendor/sub contractors and owners from the onset of contract documents
Certified Payroll
General liability and workers compensation insurance
Process and manage subcontractor invoices including the preparation of all supporting documentation
Collection of warranties at the close out process upon completion of project
Maintain and organize hard and soft copy project files
Collect and maintain subcontractor insurance
Audit of individual accounts
Assist with external audits
Qualifications
Must be licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York
Knowledge of Accounting and Financial Software
Proficiency in Excel
Detail and deadline-oriented
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Must be able to work well independently, be highly motivated
Advanced computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in the filed of Construction is a plus
