Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Accountant, with responsibilities located in Great Neck, NY. The hybrid nature of the role allows for some flexibility to work from home. The Accountant will be tasked with managing financial records, preparing tax filings, conducting audits, and analyzing financial data. Day-to-day duties also include collaborating with clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and assisting with financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Accounting and Bookkeeping, with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of Tax Preparation, Tax Compliance, and related regulations
- Experience with Financial Analysis, Auditing, and Budgeting
- Familiarity with Accounting Software, Spreadsheets, and Financial Systems Tools
- Strong problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and the capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with team members and clients
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus
- Experience in public accounting or working with clients in a professional services environment is beneficial
