Overview:
Our client, a well-established and growing Civil Engineering, Land Use Planning, and Land Surveying firm located in downtown Vancouver, Washington, is seeking a self-motivated Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to lead and grow our survey team. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA.
Pay range: $110K - $160K

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage survey team operations, both in the field and office
- Perform field surveys using modern robotic total stations, GNSS receivers, drones, and data collector technology
- Apply field-to-finish techniques and ensure compliance with company standards and safety rules
- Complete a variety of civil engineering and land surveying projects
- Manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
- Collaborate with other team members and departments
Requirements:
- 5 years of surveying experience with transportation, utility, residential subdivision, and commercial site development projects
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Washington required; Oregon license preferred (or willingness to obtain soon after hire)
- Experience with Trimble Total Stations, GNSS Receivers, and data collectors
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Ability to work efficiently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated, with a desire to grow with the company
