RC and Diamond Drillers and Experienced Offsiders

• RC and Diamond Drillers - and EXPERIENCED Offsiders - needed all across Australia - WA, SA, NT and QLD
  
• Rosters are 2/1, 2/2, 4/2 and 20/10
  
• UG Diamond Drillers also - rates approx $800-$1100/shift (if targets are achieved)
  

• Run a safe, productive drill site – achieve daily targets, safely
  
• Manage and mentor offsiders and rig operations – no throwing spanners at the Offsiders!
  
• Maintain correct drilling practices and techniques  - no shortcuts
  
• Ensure samples and procedures meet quality standards – incorrect sampling means a wasted hole
  
• Communicate with clients, crew, and management – ability to communicate effectively with mining Superintendents, Geos and other Stakeholders in a professional manner
  
• Proactively conducting and reporting daily pre-starts and maintenance checks: no productivity or metre bonuses if the rigs break down!
  
• Consumables stocktake and ordering to keep the camp and rig well supplied
  

Requirements

• Experience as Diamond, RC and Aircore Driller, other specialties please apply;
  
• Certificate III or IV in Drilling Operations (desirable)
  
• HR Drivers' Licence - still apply even if you only have a C Class​
  
• Senior First Aid (or willing to obtain)
  
• 4WD Certificate (desirable)
  
• Working at Heights (desirable)
  
• National Police Clearance – within 3 months
  
• Of course – fit enough to pass a medical with a clean urine sample!
  
• FOR EXPERIENCED OFFSIDERS: Minimum of 12 months of Offsiding to be considered

•  2/1 or 4/2 rosters, but flexibility needed for coverage as required, some roles are 20/10 (for the right candidate, 2/2 can be arranged)
  
•  Drillers: rates starting from $150k/year up to $250k/year, inclusive of bonuses – depending on experience
  
•  Offsiders: rates from around $110k/year to $150k/year
