What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Inspector position at Acro Service Corporation?
- Inspect and configure MIDS-JTRS and MIDS programs for compliance with current revisions and quality standards.
- Inspect electronic assemblies, circuit cards, wiring, components, and hardware using drawings, schematics, specifications, and process documentation.
- Perform conformal coating, solder, mechanical, and workmanship inspections in accordance with IPC and J-Standard requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects; perform post-rework and repair inspections to verify corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Engineering to resolve technical issues and clarify Engineering Change Orders.
- Maintain accuracy and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while working independently and with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of relevant experience.
- 3 years of quality inspection experience with complex circuit card assemblies.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, and gauges.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Soldering or solder inspection experience.
- Technical training in electronics manufacturing.
- IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification.
- Mechanical measurement experience.
