Position Title: Materials Planner/Purchasing Specialist I (Hybrid)
Location: St Paul Minnesota 55102
Duration: 03-months Contract on W2 (Possible extension)
Position Description:
- Material Planning Data Support/Procurement specialist
Job Description:
- Develop and maintain vendor forecasts using SAP and Excel
- Compile and analyze data to identify and quantify potential supply gaps
- Monitor open orders and proactively follow up on confirmations, changes, or delays
- Support resolution of supply constraints by coordinating across procurement, planning, and supplier partners
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail
- Experience with MS Office, strong MS Excel skills necessary
- Ability to analyze supply plans and clearly articulate gaps
Preferred Skills:
- ERP experience - SAP Experience Preferred
Education/Experience Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in business field with minimal experience OR significant planning/buying experience without a degree
Education Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in business field
