Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Napoleon, Ohio
Pay: $38–$41/hour
Job Type: 12-Month Contract (Temp-to-Hire)
Summary
Experienced Maintenance Supervisor needed to lead preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, contractor coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Core Duties
- Review and prioritize incoming work orders, define scope, and plan maintenance activities
- Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance with production teams
- Supervise contractors and ensure outsourced work meets quality expectations
- Support equipment uptime through troubleshooting, repair, rebuild, and component replacement
- Maintain PM logs, work orders, and maintenance documentation
- Ensure equipment safety, housekeeping, and regulatory compliance
- Drive TPM, Lean, and continuous improvement projects
- Manage vendor support for replacement parts and upgraded technologies
Skills Required
- Maintenance supervision in manufacturing
- Electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and robotics
- Welding and basic fabrication
- TPM, preventive/predictive maintenance
- Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Kanban
- Risk management and project leadership
- Microsoft Office and documentation
Education
- 10 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing
- OR
- 5 years of maintenance experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering
