Position Description
We are seeking a Technician – Electro Mechanical to support prototype development through mechanical and electromechanical assembly, testing, and integration in a laboratory environment. The role involves assembling prototypes, cable and harness fabrication, electrical testing, troubleshooting, handling circuit card assemblies (CCAs), applying adhesives and torque specifications, maintaining engineering documentation, and collaborating with engineers while adhering to ESD, FOD, quality, and safety standards. An Active Secret Clearance and eligibility for SAP access are required.
Skills Required
- Active Secret Security Clearance (required)

- Mechanical and electromechanical assembly experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments
- Experience applying Loctite, epoxies, adhesives, and greases
- Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain SAP access
Experience Required
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a technical laboratory, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or prototype development environment
- Experience with mechanical/electromechanical assembly
- Experience following engineering documentation and quality procedures
- Preferred experience with cable/harness assembly, continuity testing, basic electrical troubleshooting, and handling Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)
Education Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate's degree in Electronics Technology, Mechanical Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field (preferred)
