Brief Description
The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for the execution of a comprehensive inventory control program with a focus on the accuracy of stock and transactions, the integrity of the processes and the associated information, and physical attributes across the site.
This position is on-site in our Forth Worth, TX location and reports to the 1st Shift, which operates Monday through Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm.

What we are looking for in a candidate:
This position works in a warehouse setting, in an uncontrolled climate. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as manual pallet jacks and other equipment including computers, scales, banding equipment and postage machines.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

- Develop and maintain cycle counting program for the site
- Execute inventory counts and record the results in the system and in reports
- Conduct random audits of storage bins for condition and accuracy
- Maintain master data for WMS and Reporting purposes
- Support product dimensional measurements and updates in the systems
- Analyze inventory discrepancies and identify root cause
- Develop action plans for improving inventory accuracy
- Perform inspections for product both in storage and inbound
- Assist the Quality Team with quarantines and traceability exercises and events
- Conducting monthly inspections interior and exterior space for GDP and Housekeeping compliance
- Operate material handling equipment and maintains certifications to do so
- Maintain assigned warehouse area and comply with facility cleaning schedule
What we are looking for in a candidate:
- Safe operations of all material handling equipment used: reach truck, order picker, manual pallet jack (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience with inventory counting experience (required)
- Experience working with complex operations in a multi-customer, multi-product environment (preferred, not required)
- Warehouse and distribution experience working in a retail and wholesale business (preferred, not required)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Process focused, organized, and methodical
- Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Reliability of attendance and productivity
- Working knowledge of computer operations (Excel, Word)
