What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Director position at Acquired Philadelphia?
Acquired Philadelphia is a full service talent acquisition consultancy partnering with businesses locally and nationally to acquire and retain the right talent. We are on a mission to disrupt the outdated and overpriced recruiting and staffing industry.
Our client is expanding their account management function to continue their outstanding levels of client service. The Account Director will have strong team management skills and lead key relationships, working with our dedicated teams to deliver world-class campaigns across paid media (PPC, paid social, display, programmatic).
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead our account management team, providing mentorship and ensuring alignment with client goals while maintaining high performance standards
- Client Relations: Serve as the senior point of contact for clients, understanding their needs to develop tailored strategies and deliver quarterly and annual reviews
- Strategic Planning: Oversee campaign execution aligned with client objectives, collaborating with cross-functional teams across digital, paid media, and creative, to ensure quality and impactful results
- Business Development: Identify new opportunities with existing clients,
- cross-sell services (digital, paid media, research, creative), and participate in pitch presentations to drive agency growth
Requirements:
- Understanding of key paid media channels (Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic Display etc.) to shape campaign progress and drive results
- Proven leadership skills with a proactive, positive attitude. Agency experience working in a client services role
- Previous experience of the set-up and implementation of paid media campaigns would be helpful, however is not a must in this role
- Highly energetic presence to engage clients and build rapport, whilst galvanizing our team to deliver powerful campaigns
- Fantastic attention to detail, organisational skills and a calm presence to deliver under pressure
- Highly self-motivated to drive exceptional standards of work and push the team to new levels
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, ability to offer solutions to complex client challenges
- Expertise in higher education enrollment management and marketing trends
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills to convey data-driven insights.
- Work with our ambitious and dedicated paid media specialists on exciting campaigns in education
