SNAPSHOT OF THE ROLE The People Partner works closely with business leaders to deliver people strategies that drive engagement, performance, and retention. Reporting to the People Partner – Senior Manager, this role serves as a trusted advisor to assigned business units, balancing employee advocacy with business needs while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor standards. • Business & People Partnership o Partner with leaders and managers to deliver people plans aligned with business and HR strategies. o Provide coaching and guidance on performance management, employee development, engagement, and workforce movements (promotion, transfer, resignation, etc.). o Build strong stakeholder relationships through proactive consultation, issue resolution, and influence. • Employee Relations & Discipline o Lead and manage employee relations concerns, including counseling, investigations, and disciplinary processes. o Conduct administrative investigations related to Code of Conduct violations and recommend appropriate actions based on company policy. o Draft and manage ER documentation (e.g., Notices to Explain, Conferences, Decisions, Preventive Suspension). o Support leaders in handling ER cases effectively while strengthening their accountability and capability. • Engagement, Retention & Culture o Drive initiatives that promote employee engagement, retention, and a positive employee experience. o Coordinate and support employee engagement programs, surveys, focus groups, and exit interviews. o Promote a culture of collaboration, respect, and open communication across assigned teams. • Policy, Compliance & Governance o Ensure consistent application and compliance with HR policies, procedures, and labor regulations. o Identify policy gaps and contribute to the development or enhancement of HR policies and guidelines. o Facilitate policy briefings and orientations for managers and supervisors. o Uphold information security and data privacy standards in all HR processes. • Continuous Improvement o Gather employee and stakeholder feedback to improve HR services and people programs. o Proactively flag people risks, trends, or issues that may impact business performance. A BIT ABOUT YOU • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field; advanced studies or HR certifications are an advantage. • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a People Partner, HR Business Partner, or Employee Relations role. • Strong working knowledge of Philippine labor laws, including DOLE advisories and compliance requirements. • Demonstrated experience managing employee relations cases, investigations, and disciplinary processes with sound judgment and confidentiality. • Ability to balance employee advocacy and business needs while maintaining fairness and consistency. • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills. • Effective communicator with the ability to influence, coach, and collaborate with leaders and employees at all levels. • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented, with a continuous improvement mindset. • Digitally proficient and comfortable using HR systems, collaboration tools, and standard productivity platforms.
